Letter to
the Editor
Thanks to good Samaritan:
Dear Editor,
I would like to thank the lady who found
my purse in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Everything was still in it and
I appreciated that so much.
It makes me so happy to know there are
still honest, caring people in this community when we read about so
much crime.
Thank you again,
Wanda Boyd

Correction
In the article, “Close to Home -
my father’s band of brothers,” Lois Boyd’s name was
inadvertently misspelled.
The article was written by Thomas M.
Boyd of Alexandria, Va. He is the first cousin of Wanda Boyd and Lois
Boyd of Holly Springs and the son of the late L.B. (Pete) Boyd, Holly
Springs.
We regret the error.
