Football teams ready for work

Some of the hottest temperatures of the summer will likely greet high school football teams.
Hunter safety class cheduled for August 18 at Fairgrounds
A hunter safety class will be given Saturday, Aug. 18, 8 a.m. until, at the Marshall County Fairgrounds, Hwy. 7 N., Holly Springs.
Applicants must be 10 years of age to be certified and must bring their Social Security number.

Campers learn basketball fundamentals

The second annual Naylond Hayes Basketball Camp was held during the weeks of July 16 and 23.
Mt. Pleasant Lions continue registration for fall football
Time is running out.
The Mt. Pleasant Lions Youth Football & Cheer Organization still has slots available for participation in both football and cheerleading for the 2007 season. Children from ages 7-16, both boys and girls, who are interested in football and cheerleading are eligible to participate.
