Attend camp
The
Marshall Academy 2007-08 junior high cheerleaders attended cheer camp
at Mississippi State University June 27-29. They had an outstanding
three days and earned four blue superior ribbons for cheer and dance
evaluations and two gold superior ribbons for camp material learned.
For the second year in a row, the squad was named Camp Champs in both
the cheer and dance categories. The girls received a first place trophy
in the Home Pom Competition and also had three squad members chosen as
UCA All-Stars. There were 18 other squads participating in the camp.
The cheerleaders are (front, from left) Emma Elgin, Kelsey Shaw,
captain Lauralee Fant, co-captain Sarah Poteet, Sarah Holloway,
Katherine Farese; (back, same order) Morgan Smith, Anne Greer, Callie
Clanton, Megan Isbell and Claire Liddy.

UCA All Stars
Callie Clanton, Lauralee
Fant and Sarah Poteet were chosen as UCA All-Star Cheerleaders from the
recent cheer camp at Mississippi State University. They will be
participating in the Houston, Texas, 2007 Thanksgiving Day Parade.

A hunter safety class will be
given Saturday, Aug. 18, 8 a.m.
until, at the Marshall County
Fairgrounds, Hwy. 7 N., Holly
Springs.
Applicants must be 10 years of
age to be certified and must bring
their Social Security number.
