Letter to the Editor Response to letter: I appreciate Mr. McMillan’s concerns for the tax payers’ dollar. But, as usual, his comments are just his opinion and, as usual, rarely based on facts or logical, reasoned thought. The insert that I placed in the December mailing of the Holly Springs Utility Department, just like the advertisements in this paper and two others, was paid in full, by me. The utility department, under their new manager, has devised a way to offset the cost of billing by selling unused space, as a result of the postage that is not being used. To this end, I paid the cost of printing, shipping and a fee to the utility department, for their service. Not a dime of tax payers’ or rate payers’ money was used. So Mr. McMillan, get your facts straight before you blast another letter to the editor and I wish everyone, even you Mr. McMillan, a Happy New Year. Sincerely, Report News:
