• FORESTRY QUARTERLY MEETING Marshall County Forestry Association will hold their quarterly meeting on Thursday, June 21, at the Marshall County Fairgrounds with registration starting at 6:30 p.m. This will be a potluck meal and everyone is asked to bring a side dish and dessert. Tim Traugott of Grenada, Extension Professor, FWRC-Forestry, will present a program on Tree Farm Certification. For additional information and to register for this program, contact the Marshall Co. Extension Service at 662-252-3541 by June 20.
• Byhalia Clydesdale Festival will be held June 21-23 at Hwy. 78 and Hwy. 309. There will be a carnival, hot wing contest, pony and horse pull, political speaking, motorcycle rally, rodeo, and music. All proceeds benefit Clydesdale Christmas Store.
• 4-H MEETING The Lessye Lee Davis 4-H Club junior members will meet at the Marshall County Library, 6 p.m. to finish Christmas ornaments.
• MEETING Byhalia High School Band parents’ meeting at 6 p.m. in the high school commons area. Please come and support the Indians’ band.
• Are you registered to vote? There will be a voter registration booth set up during the Byhalia Clydesdale Festival June 21 - 23, noon till 7 p.m. daily. You must be registered to vote no later than July 7 at noon to vote in the primary elections.
