Mt. Pleasant team sets registration, meetingThe Mt. Pleasant Lions Youth Football and Cheer Organization continues to host a pre-registration drive for the 2007 season at H.W. Byers School.Parents will have the opportunity to register their children on Thursday, May 24, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. A meeting will be held a 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. It will provide information about the upcoming season and other events.If you are unable to attend on Thursday, please contact one of the individuals listed below to register your child as soon as possible. Pre-registration ends May 31. Children from ages 7-16, both boys and girls, who are interested in football and cheerleading are eligible to participate. The age of eligibility is based on the child’s age as of July 1, 2007.The registration requirements are as follows: 1. Copy of last report card; 2. Sports physical report; 3. Certified copy of birth certificate; 4. $35 registration fee (non-refundable).Camp will be held on June 1, June 2, and June 9. Only registered children will be allowed to participate in the camp. No onsite registration will be allowed after May 31 for camp participation.
