Byhalia Indians were finishing up a full week in pads and decided to
take what they had learned on the road.
Diva’s win first place
First place in the Dizzy Dean Pre-Season Tournament goes to the Potts
Camp Dirt Diva’s fast pitch team. Pictured, kneeling (from

Marshall hands out awards
Academy coaches wrapped up the sports year Thursday night by passing
out awards at the school’s annual athletic banquet.
The C.F.I. Cuties coach pitch team of Potts Camp won first place in the
Dizzy Dean Pre-Season Tournament that took place in Byhalia during the
month of April. Pictured bottom, from left, are Taneshia Marion,

Mt. Pleasant team plans registration
Pleasant Lions Football and Cheer Organization continues to host a
pre-registration drive for the 2007 season at H.W. Byers School.
Kudzu 5K slated for Friday
the 20th anniversary of the Killer Kudzu Run.
The 5K race
is set for this Friday, May 18, starting at 7 p.m. on the Marshall
County Courthouse square. The challenging, hilly course winds through
historic, scenic Holly Springs.
