Kudzu 5K slated for Friday It’s the 20th anniversary of the Killer Kudzu Run. The 5K race is set for this Friday, May 18, starting at 7 p.m. on the Marshall County Courthouse square. The challenging, hilly course winds through historic, scenic Holly Springs. Pre-register by May 17 and the cost is $15 per person. Race day registration is $18. Awards will be given in 14 age groups, plus first through third overall male and female and first place master/grandmaster. There will be cash prizes for the top three finishes with $300 for first, $200 for second and $100 for third. An additional $300 will be given for a new course record.
