Second stabbing victim dies By SUE WATSON Two suspects charged with capital murder in the stabbing death of Tolbert Sholar Jr. April 14 have had their charges updated in the stabbing of Reamus Williams of the Watson community. Williams died Sunday, April 29, of his injuries in The Memphis Med, according to Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson. Suspects Anthony Green, 25, and Angie Jones, 24, of Marshall County, had their charges in the aggravated assault of Williams upgraded to capital murder, Dickerson said. Green and Jones are being held without bond awaiting action in Marshall County circuit court. Williams and Sholar were found in the yard at Williams’ house in the Watson community Saturday, April 14, by first responders, who were called to the smoking and flaming home. Sholar was already dead from multiple stab wounds and Williams was alive with multiple stab wounds and burns, Dickerson said. The house which burned to the ground is believed to have been started by gasoline during an altercation between the suspects and the two victims. In other news, Dickerson said 12 people were arrested in Marshall County Tuesday, April 24, along with 33 others arrested in Benton and Tippah counties in a one-day, state-wide roundup by narcotics task forces. The effort was coordinated by the Third Judicial Narcotics Enforcement Team, he said. Arrest warrants were served on drug-related charges, violation of probation and other criminal charges, Dickerson said. Report News:
