place at district meet Saturday
Several Marshall Academy Patriots and
Lady Patriots performed well in the Senior High District Track Meet
this past Saturday at Clarksdale.
- High Jump - girls, Kim Cunningham, fourth; boys, Brent Adams,
first, 6-2.
- Long Jump - boys, Brent Adams, first, 19-6.5; Gene Alexin, third,
18-6.5.
- Triple Jump - boys, Brent Adams, first, 40-11.5.
- Discus - boys, Landon Fennell, second, 101.
- Shot Put - boys, Landon Fennell, fourth; girls, Heather Tomlinson,
fourth.
- 300 Meter Hurdles - boys, Colby Curtis, third.
- 800 Meter Relay - girls, Molly West, Chelsea Faulkenbery, Lauralee
Fant, Mandy Bolden, third, 1:58; boys, Wesley Harris, Brent Adams,
Gene Alexin, Jake Howell, second, 1:41.
- 400 Meter Relay - girls, Molly West, Mary Louise Smith, Chelsea
Faulkenbery, Mandy Bolden, third, 55.8; boys, Wesley Harris, Brent
Adams, Gene Alexin, Jake Howell, second, 46.7.
- 100 Meter Hurdles - girls, Emma Elgin, fifth.
- 110 Meter Hurdles - boys, Colby Curtis, third.
- 100 Meter Dash - girls, Molly West, fourth; boys, Tyler Childers,
second, 11.5; Wesley Harris, third, 11.7.
- 1600 Meter Run - girls, Megan Isbell, third, 6:36.
- 400 Meter Dash - girls, Lauralee Fant, fifth; boys, Hank Owens,
third, 58.6.
- 800 Meter Run - girls, Megan Isbell, second, 3:01.
- 200 Meter Dash - girls, Molly West, fourth; boys, Wesley Harris,
second, 23.5; Gene Alexin, fourth.
