News Waterford Lodge Hall hosts district meeting April 21 Let us confess our sin. God of mercy, you sent Jesus Christ to seek and save the lost. We confess that we have strayed from you and turned aside from your way. We are misled by pride, for we see ourselves pure when we are small. We have failed in love, neglected justice and ignored your truth. Have mercy, o God, and forgive our sin. Return us to paths of righteousness through Jesus Christ, our Savior. Mrs. Evelyn Elliott and Mrs. Elmira Curry attended the St. Andrew Presbyterian Women’s Spring Gathering on March 20 at First Presbyterian Church in Columbus. Rev. Dr. Coker George delivered an inspiring message on March 25 at the 11 a.m. services. He used for a title: How far are we willing to go? Do not limit what you can do for God. Gospel reading from John 12. Several members from Sunrise Chapter #166 O.E.S. attended the district workshop at the Philadelphia chapter on March 24. Betty M. Vaxter and a friend, Mrs. Johnnie M. Hollis, from Jacksonville, Ind., spent the weekend of March 30 through April 1 in the home of Elmira Curry and visited with other family members and friends while they were here. Loretta Curry, Vanessa. A. and Yazmine Blake from D.C. spent last week with their parents, the Curry and Blake family, and visited their aunt Mrs. Troy M. Miller in Memphis, Tenn. on Tuesday and a former co-worker. Bethsheba Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star District 15, district meeting will be held at the Waterford Lodge Hall on Saturday, April 21. Registration is at 8 a.m. Sunrise services were held at Greenfield Presbyterian Church on Sunday, April 8. Rev. Coker George delivered an inspiring message, “The Risen Savior,” followed with a breakfast for all. Report News:
