News Rev. and Mrs. Leroy James to be honored Easter weekend was celebrated by the people in the City of Holly Springs. On Good Friday many cleaned their homes, worked in the garden and yard. Saturday, they went window shopping and grocery shopping. Sunday, they attended Easter services. Hopewell No. 1 celebrated their 139th anniversary March 5. Rev. Dedrick Lesure, pastor of Christ Temple CME Church, was morning speaker and Dr. John W. Crittle, pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church in Memphis, was the afternoon speaker. Hopewell No. 1 will honor their pastor and wife, Rev. and Mrs. Leroy James, the third Sunday in April. Pastor of Mt. Comfort CME Church delivered the Palm Sunday sermon. Court No. 14 was host. Pastor James was evangelist for Pleasant Grove spring revival April 13. Report News:
