Holly Springs pharmacist named to Advisory Committee Holly Springs pharmacist Bob Lomenick has been named to the Dean’s Advisory Committee for the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. The committee plays an active role in providing recommendations to the dean concerning curriculum, planning, research programs and opportunities for development. Members include alumni, pharmacy school administrators, practicing pharmacists in a variety of settings, leaders in pharmacy education and corporate leaders. They are appointed for three-year terms by the dean. Lomenick, who earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from UM in 1977, is owner of Tyson Drug Co., Potts Camp Family Pharmacy, I.V. Care and Diabetic Solutions. In 2004, he was appointed to the Medicaid Technical Advisory Group by Gov. Haley Barbour. He is a member of the National Community Pharmacists Assoc., Mississippi Pharmacists Assoc., MS Independent Pharmacy Association, American Diabetes Association and the American Assoc. of Diabetes Educators.
