News Miniature golf committee seeks contributions from community Everyone loves spring, but oh, those March winds. It seems everyone has been complaining that the wind has been a nuisance for those of us who want to fish, go boating and especially for those who want to work in their yard. If you will rake your leaves into a pile and burn them later when it’s not so windy, it will be much better than taking a chance on burning them on a windy day, possibly starting a fire that could easily get out of control. Springs News Heroines of Jericho Court No. 14 to host Palm Sunday celebration April 1 Hopewell No. 1 was host to the Marshall County Singing Union Sunday, March 11 with Terry Kilpatrick, president, presiding. National Baptist Sunday School workshop was held at St. Paul Baptist Church Saturday, March 10. Women of Hopewell No. 1 met last Saturday at 10 a.m. Those who attended the State Retired Education Personnel meeting March 13 in Jackson from Marshall County were Mrs. Laverne Jones, president; Mrs. Mary Milan, former president; Miss Mary Ruth Street, secretary; Mrs. Helen Newsom, hospitality committee; Mrs. Susie Matthews, one of the ushers; Mrs. Bernice Martin, assistant musician. The Heroines of Jericho Court No. 14 will be host to Palm Sunday celebration along with Courts 3 and 301 Sunday April 1, 3 p.m. at Hopewell. No. 1. Report News:
