Snow
Lake News First breakfast and corp. meeting of the year set for Jan. 20 Hello Snow Lakers. I hope you had a good week? I had a wonderful week. I was lazy and laid around a lot, again. I need to start working on my New Year’s resolutions. I have come up short on so many things, I don’t think I can make up for all the loss this past year. I have been accused of thinking of the baby too much and letting work pass me by. I was thinking of when I would see the baby again, and about 15 minutes later my granddaughter called to see if I could come to California in February. You know what I said! All the Christmas decorations were fabulous this year. Hopefully, next year we can have a few Christmas vans to take people by to see them. And finish it off with a party. Ralph Edwards, who has been in the hospital several weeks, passed away just before Christmas. Jane, his wife, had been in Memphis while he was in the hospital. The funeral was held at Highpoint Funeral Home and burial at Memory Hills in Memphis. So many of their friends were there to support Jane and the family. We will miss him, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Joy Priest had surgury recently and she is improving nicely. We wish her the best. Ed McCulley entered the Veteran’s Hospital for a heart by-pass recently and I have heard he is doing real well. If you know of anyone sick or needing help, please call Sue Graves, 224-3264. As you know, the election is over. The first meeting of the new year was Jan. 2. Coming Events: Jan. 20 - 7-9 a.m. Breakfast, followed by corporate meeting 9 a.m. Jan. 27 - 6:30 p.m. Potluck. Remember, guests are always welcome to come to any of our events. Report News:
