Corneliouses celebrate anniversary

We were so happy to have had our college students home for Christmas from Alcorn State, Jackson State, Mississippi Valley State, Mississippi State, University of Southern Mississippi, University of Mississippi, Northwest and Northeast Community Colleges and some soldiers from military bases over the United States.

Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Cornelious celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary recently. Pastor James made a presentation to them during worship service Dec. 17.

Samuel Chapel had their Pre-Christmas program Dec. 20. They exchanged gifts and passed-out fruit bags to the members.

Attorney and Mrs. Ben Cole spent Christmas in Houston, Tx.

Hopewell No. 1 presented their Christmas program Christmas Eve; they exchanged gifts among members.

Julius Bostick took his grandmother, Genetha Smith, and his aunt Mary Milan to the movie “Pursuit of Happiness” in Memphis Dec. 21.

Ruth Small has died. She has relatives in Holly Springs and Marshall County.

Holly Springs residents received many Christmas cards including one from the U of M.

Henderson Milan and wife visited his relatives in West Marshall County during the Christmas holidays
