Springs News Retired education personnel honored recently at Library Marshall County Retired Education Personnel’s honor day was Friday, Feb. 10, 1 p.m. at the Library with President Jones presiding. Prayer was offered by Mr. Riley Redd. Welcome by Mrs. Queen Martin. Mrs. Georgia Bagley discussed the occasion. Three people were honored and awarded plaques, Terry Kilpatrick, president, Marshall Singing Union; George Zinn, District 4 supervisor; and Mrs. Louise Plaxico, retired teacher. Pastor and Mrs. Leroy James celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 11. We wish to congratulate them. We wish to express our love and sympathy to the family of the late Lucille Beard Elliott. Services were held at Morning View Baptist Church Wednesday, 12 noon in Memphis. Report News:
