Personals Community saddened by the death of longtime resident and friend Susan Warren spent the week-end with her parents, Ellen and Roby Stegall in Carlsbad, Ca. She was joined by her sister, Stacey Pace of Hattiesburg and her brother, Lee Stegall of San Diego, Ca. to celebrate their fathers eightieth birthday. Rowan Thompson of Dallas, Texas, was the weekend guest of his sister, Kay Wheeler, and niece, Laura Wheeler. While here, he visited with friends and other family members. Holly Springs lost one of the sweestest men in town on Saturday night, Howard Buford. I knew him from the Presbyterian Church, as he was a very active member there. Never did he greet you without tipping his head and extending his hand to speak. One could tell when he was feeling sluggish by his appearance, but he sure would never tell you. Mr. Buford did not want anyone to worry. The last few weeks, he had a steady decline in his health. I went to visit last week and, as sick as he was, he still extended his hand and had that familiar glimmer in his eye. He will be sorely missed by our entire community. God bless the Buford family in this loss. (To put your news in City Personals, please e-mail maryclayb@yahoo.com; mail to City Personals, The South Reporter, P.O.
