Breakfast Saturday followed by corporation meeting

Hello Snow Lakers. I hope you had a good week.

I am on the road so I don’t know if anyone is sick. Hopefully I can report later. If you know of anyone sick or needing help please call Sue Graves at 224-3264.

Get ready for the Bluegrass Festival on July 1! We have already started working on the events, engaged the bands, and making plans for fireworks! Insurance must be provided for shooting fireworks and that is an added expense, so the committee could use some contributions to assist with this. Contact the town or corporation office for more information. All help is extremely appreciated.

We had a meeting on Jan. 31, so if you missed this one, please watch the paper when we announce the next one.

Again, I want to mention the Neighborhood Watch program. We have a grant and contributions to purchase signs, so when the signs arrive we will start installing them in the appropiate locations.

We have been through Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Spent some time with relatives, and we are on our way to Sedona, Ariz. We hope to ride the train through the mountains in Sedona.

Then we will make our way to Los Angeles to visit our grandaughter until the 25th. More later.

Coming Events:

Saturday, Feb. 18 - 7-9 a.m. Breakfast followed by corporation meeting at 9 a.m.

Saturday, Feb. 25 - 6:30 p.m. Potluck.

Monday, Mar. 6 - 7 p.m. Town meeting.

Monday, Mar. 13 - 6:30 p.m. - Ladies Auxiliary meeting.

Remember, guests are always welcome to come to any of our events.

Our Quote: From “Gentle Thoughts.” “Perfection is attained by slow degrees; it requires the hand of time.”

Have a good week.
