Snowfall means family fun
My children thought their dad was too old to go sledding.
I was a bit concerned about it myself.
Way back when “Pop” and I were first married, I will admit now, that I really didn’t know everything in the world.
Being young and knowing everything as I thought I did, naturally, my own mother couldn’t tell me anything. It wasn’t until I had children of my own that I realized she was smart enough to breath on her own.
Grief and encouragement at “graduation”
Preachers are allowed, I hope, to feel both a due sense of grief and encouragement when members they have loved “graduate” from this life into the life to come.
Feb. 1 has always marked a proud day for me. On that day, this country gathers itself for a month long remembrance of the legacy of African American contributions to the history of this nation.
