Please don't drink and drive; don't risk your life, others' The Holly Springs Police Department warns that drinking and driving is a serious offense. We’ve seen the television and billboard ads reminding us about the dangers related to drinking and driving. Yet, each year close to one million people are injured or killed in alcohol-related accidents. Please don’t drink and drive. If you are going to drink, plan ahead. You might consider leaving your car at home and riding with a non-drinking friend or make use of public transportation, like a taxi or a bus. Please be a responsible host during the holidays. If you are planning an event where alcohol is being served, have non-alcoholic beverages available for those who will be driving home. When traveling during the holiday season, be aware of situations around you. Maintain a safe distance from anyone driving erratically while on the road. If you suspect that someone is driving under the influence of alcohol, contact your local law enforcement agency. Please don’t risk your life, or the lives of others...don’t drink and drive. Report
