Letters to the Editor
Heartfelt
thank you:
Dear Editor, To Chulahoma MB Church Youth Ministry “2006 Christmas Store” supporters: Just a heartfelt word of thanks for the kindness and support provided the Chulahoma MB Church Youth Ministry in our “2006 Christmas Store Project” for underprivileged families. Your generous donations and/or contributions helped to provide toys for more than 125 children and food for at least 85 families this holiday season. Words are inadequate in trying to explain the joy in our hearts when we received your gift. Thank God for using persons as yourself to bestow blessings upon others. It reassured our belief that there are still persons who are concerned about others’ well-being. We really thank each and every one of you for assisting in this endeavor. On behalf of our pastor, Rev. John E. Booker, the Youth Ministry, and all the recipients who benefited from your gifts -- thank you. We, the Chulahoma MB Church Youth Ministry, wish you and your families a season filled with love, joy, peace and happiness. May God continue to bless you as you use your blessings to help others! Sincerely
yours, Picture from the past I like to read the section of The South Reporter that deals with events that happened years ago. Recently, I ran across this picture that I thought might be of interest even though it happened over 60 years ago. I read your paper on the Internet each week and find it very interesting and informative. Keep up the good work. Sincerely,
Walter Wicker Louisiana Tech University Ruston,
La.
