Lake News Community decorates for the holidays Hello Snow Lakers. I hope you had a good week. I got home last week and I sure am lomesome. I got some more pictures today and that makes me feel better. I talk to them on a regular basis so that makes it better too. Have you driven around the lake to see all the beautiful Christmas decorations? Several houses are really decorated. Thanks to them for sharing it with us. The fronts of the Town and Corp offices look festive. And the Landscape Society has decorated both entrances. It’s worth the time to see all of it. I didn’t hear how the Snow Lake Christmas Parade turned out. It was a very cold night so I didn’t see many boats. I just heard that Ralph Edwards is still in the Baptist Hospital East. Jane said they are doing all they can at this time to keep him going. He is improving and hopefully in time he will fully recover. Cliff Langley is still in a nursing home in Holly Springs. I saw Idlett West today and she looked very good. She was walking by herself and pushing a basket in the grocery store. She said Ronald is coming home Thursday of this week, and she is looking forward to seeing him. He has been at Lakeland for a good while. Her sister has been helping out while both of them have been sick. Bob Robinson is still having trouble with his balance. Juanita has had some tests run but all of them came back negative. She was so thankful for the good news. Joy Priest was operated on at the Oxford Hospital, and it appears the operation was a success. She will be home in about a week. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families. If you know of anyone sick or needing help please call Sue Graves, 224-3264. The election is over. I hope you exercised your right and went to the polls. When I write next week, we will have a new mayor and a new alderman.
