Winter shows set for fairgrounds

Marshall County Fair Association will hold the Winter Blues Horse Shows at the Marshall County Fairgrounds, 1569 Hwy. 7 N, Holly Springs

The dates for the horse shows are Dec. 9, Feb. 3 and March 24. Gates open at 2 p.m. Show begins at 4 p.m.

If ice or snow occurs the horse show will be cancelled.

Classes include Lead-In, Halter, Showmanship, English, Western, Gaited, Poles and Barrels. All open classes 70-30 payout.

Negative Coggins required. Must have papers with you. Gate fee is $3 per vehicle. Entry fee is $4 per class (non-open classes) and $6 for all open classes with payback. Stalls available for $10; shavings $5 per bundle.
