County fairgrounds hosting Kudzu Klassic Barrel Series

The Marshall County Fair Association proudly presents the Kudzu Klassic 4-D Barrel Series.

The dates for this event will be: Nov. 25, Dec. 30, Jan. 6, Jan. 20, Feb. 10 and March 3 at the Marshall County Fairgrounds, 1569 Hwy. 7 N. This barrel race is a MS/TN IBRA sanctioned event.

Classes offered as follows:

Trainer Barrels begin at 9 a.m., $4 entry.
Pee Wee Barrels (6 and under), 12 noon, $5 entry.
Pony Barrels (12 and under), $6 entry.
Youth Barrels (18 and under), 4-D with 100+ riders -- $$ added, $18 entry.
Adult Barrels (19 and over), 4-D with 100+ riders -- $$ added, $20 entry.
Open Barrels (open to all ages), $$ added in Open, $20 entry.

Family membership for series is $25 (husband, wife and kids). Single membership for series is $15.

Must be a member to qualify for End of Series Awards. Must show in four out of six shows. Points given to members only. Points given for all six shows. Awards given to first five places. Must be at least 30 riders per class to add money. 70/30 payout.

Gates open at 8 a.m. Gate fee is $5 per vehicle.

Negative Coggins is required. Must have papers with you to get in the gate. No dogs allowed inside of arena and no alcohol is allowed.

If snow or ice, show will be postponed.
