A large crowd attended the Clayton reunion held at the home of Don and Susie Hill on Saturday. Lester Glen Clayton, son of the late Billie and Frank Clayton, stopped to visit his uncle, Joel Clayton and wife Joyce after the reunion.

Hopewell No. 1 hosts fall revival

The 34th anniversary of Marshall County Singing Union was celebrated Sunday, Oct. 8, 3 p.m. at Hopewell No. 1 Theme, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.” Welcome by Sis. Cora Walton. Acceptance from Sandhill. Music by the mass choir. Sis. Zelma discussed the occasion.

Officers were presented awards by president Terry Kilpatrick. Rev. Etoy Bogard, pastor of Sandhill Church, was speaker and guest. Remarks and benediction, Rev. Bogard.

Fall revival will be three nights at Hopewell No. 1 Oct. 25 - 27.

Marshall County Retired Education Personnel will meet at Dreamland Dec. 8. Our Christmas dinner will be served for a fee.
