Marshall teams win six of eight

It was a week filled with district foes for Marshall Academy basketball teams, and the Lady Patriots and Patriots each won three of four.

The Lady Patriots went to 20-15 overall and 6-4 in the district. The Patriots moved to 24-8 overall and 9-1 in district play.

Lady Lions on roll, knock off McAdams

H.W. Byers, which stepped up to Class 2A this season, welcomed one of 1A’s best Saturday night.

The Lady Lions won their sixth straight to improve to 12-11 overall and handed the McAdams girls just their third loss of the season (21-3).

Hawks stay perfect with win over 5A Horn Lake

The Horn Lake Eagles brought three teams to Holly High on Saturday.

Their junior varsity met and defeated the Holly High JVs by a score of 46-36.
