Maddie Gresham attends Cotillion Valentine’s Ball

Becky Cupp, Margaret Ann and Norbert Barruel and Robin Seale attended a house warming party for Walker and Heather Cupp in Collierville, Tenn., on Saturday.

Tom and Jackie Maddox of Owensboro, Ky., were weekend guests of Kay and Laura Wheeler.

Happy belated birthday to Kay Wheeler, Carey Crain and Renee Tice. Special congratulations to Renee, who flipped a number this year!

Beverly and Shelby Fitch of Collierville, Tenn., were Wednesday afternoon guests of Becky Cupp.

Maddie Gresham attended The DeSoto County Junior Cotillion Valentine’s Ball at Bonne Terre in Nesbit on Saturday night.

Landon Fennell was a page in Jackson, for his grandfather, Ralph Doxey, who is one of our state senators.

Greene-Blaylock vows said in October 29 ceremony

Tara Lynn Blaylock and Matthew Edwin Greene were united in marriage October 29, 2005 at Paris-Yates Chapel in Oxford, with Chaplain (Capt.) Kerry L. Greene officiating. A reception with dinner and dancing followed at the University Club in Oxford.

The bride is the daughter of Teresa Lee of Calhoun City and the late Charles Blaylock.

She is a graduate of Calhoun City High School and the University of Mississippi where she received a bachelor of business administration in banking and finance and a master of business administration in pharmaceutical marketing. She is a pharmaceutical sales representative for Johnson & Johnson in Chicago, Ill.

Tara is the granddaughter of Pauline Wade of Derma and the late Lesley O. Blaylock and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bertot.

The bridegroom is the son of Carolyn Herting of Mandeville, La. and the late Edwin E. Greene III.

Mr. Greene graduated from Mandeville High School in Mandeville, La. and the University of Mississippi where he received a bachelor of business administration in banking and finance. He also received a master’s of business administration from the University of Chicago. He is employed by J. P. Morgan in Chicago, IL.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin E. Greene Jr. of Spring, Texas (formerly of Germantown, Tenn.) and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Bowie of Holly Springs.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple is residing in Chicago, Ill.
