Marshall Academy PTC hosts Italian Feast Monday

The Marshall Academy Parent-Teacher Council (P.T.C.) announces Italian Feast Night at the school next Monday, Sept. 25.

Hours are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the MA cafeteria. Plates are available for $5 per person and will include spaghetti, salad, rolls and famous Slayden desserts. People may dine in or take out a plate.

Everyone is invited to an evening of food, fellowship and entertainment.

Denise Gholson graduates from Union University

Denise Gholson of Holly Springs was one of 249 students who graduated from Union University during commencement exercises at West Jackson Baptist Church on August 5.

Gholson received the master of education degree.

The featured speaker at the graduation event was Carl Zylstra, president of the Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.
