News Wilsons enjoy family vacation in Destin, Fla. We send our love and sympathy to Larry Rhea and family of Hickory Flat in the recent death (Aug. 20) of his daughter, Terry Lynn Rhea, age 28, in a car accident. Her grandmother is a friend, Beatrice Rhea. Many of you will remember Wilma Spencer Rhea, daughter of our agriculture teacher, Mr. Spencer, who married into that family. Jimmy Rhea is her husband. News End of summer party planned Hello Snow Lakers. I hope you had a good week . We are home from vacation and we had a wonderful time. We saw many beautiful sights and visited some friends. Also, we couldn’t pass an antique store without stopping. We just couldn’t resist buying some cheap treasures. Now I will have to pack up things we are using now to make room for the new items. Holly
Springs News Hopewell No. 1 will celebrate Grandparents Day September 10 The Rev. Woodard, moderator, United Brotherhood Baptist Association, attended revival at Samuel Chapel Church the second week in August. Hopewell No. 1 will celebrate National Grandparents Day Sunday, Sept. 10, 10:45 a.m. Music will be provided by the choir. Pastor James will deliver the sermon. The public is invited. Marshall County Retired Education Personnel will meet Friday, Oct. 6., 1 p.m. in Marshall County Library. The president urges all retired teachers to attend.
