Lake News Donations needed for Ladies Auxiliary cake sale Hello Snow Lakers. I hope you had a good week . We are still on vacation in East Tennessee, Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, and back home on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We’re stopping to see all the sights and some friends. There will be something in the paper each week, so keep watching. If you know of anyone sick or needing help please call Sue Graves, 224-3264. Keep this date in mind! October 7 - the Community Center and Ladies Fire Auxiliary will have a yard sale on that date. We need all the merchandise we can get. Leave your merchandise at Joan Martinez’s house on Snow Lake Drive, or the Ashland Outlet on Hwy 4. More info will follow. There will also be a cake sale; someone will be calling for a donation so stay close to the phone. I hope you have received your Town of Snow Lake Shores newsletter of August 2006. There are several points of discussion which can only enhance our beautiful town. Please do your part to help the town accomplish all their goals. Don’t forget, I am available - if you need hooks to put on a post to hold your cans upright until the garbage truck picks them up, or if you also need a post, I will install one, at no cost to you. All you need to do is call me - 224-3913. If I am not at home, please leave a message. I may be on vacation, but I will get to you as soon as I get back. Coming Events: Aug. 24 or 31 - 1 p.m. Red Hat Society Meeting at Annie’s in Holly Springs. I am sorry I am so mixed up on the date, but call Dixie at 224-8604 to get the correct date. Thanks.
