Ethel Ashcroft honored on 100th birthday; congratulations to Askews on anniversary
Congratulations to a friend, Ethel Nichols Ashcroft, on her 100th birthday, Aug. 18. She grew up in Winborn and attended Potts Camp School. She lives in New Albany. A reception was held for her at First Methodist Church in New Albany on Aug. 17. Many of us remember the large Nichols family who lived in this area at one time.
