News MC Retired Personnel to meet at Library Aug. 11 A revival was held at Hopewell No. 1 for three nights, July 26-28, 7 p.m. each night. The plan of salvation, invitations and 10th chapter of Romans was read each night. It was a great success. Rev. S.A. Phillips, pastor of Pleasant Grove Church, was the evangelist and delivered some powerful sermons all three nights, which thrilled the congregation. His wife and daughters, grandchildren, members from his church and other churches were present during revival. Samuel Chapel Missionary Society went on their outreach program Saturday, July 29. Marshall County Retired Education Personnel will meet Friday, Aug. 11, 1 p.m.at Marshall County Public Library. President Jones urges all retired personnel to attend.
