Local company receives award

Action Custom Roofing Inc. is a recipient of the 2006 Partner in Quality Award from Firestone Building Products Company. This award distinguishes Action Custom Roofing, Inc. for its dedication to installing quality roofing systems.

“Firestone Building Products is proud to honor roofing contractors who continue to display installation excellence,” said Michael Gorey, president of Firestone Building Products and CEO of BFS Diversified Products, LLC. “Action Custom Roofing, Inc. has received the Partner in Quality Award for demonstrating a commitment to long-term roofing system performance.”

The Firestone Partner in Quality Award recognizes contractors who installed a minimum of four warranted Firestone roofs in each of the past five years, maintained at least one million square feet of Firestone roofs under warranty, and achieved an annual Quality Incidence Rating (QIR) of 2.0 or less. Firestone’s recently created QIR measures each contractor’s quality performance based on warranty repair incidences per million square feet under warranty.
