Running paper route
The past few Wednesdays the publisher has actually had to work.
Delivering papers around our county kind of carried me back to when I first started in this business.
Close to Nowhere
Heartfelt thank yous
Friday night when 6-year-old Morgan Shaw went to bed at her home in Laws Hill, she was the daughter of Pistol and Jennifer Shaw. By Saturday morning, she belonged to the entire community, county, surrounding counties and much of the Mid-South.
And there was much wailing and gnashing...
A couple of Sundays ago, walking home after the morning service at our church I saw, glittering at me from the gutter near the storm drain, a nickel. I am enough of a Scotsman that I stoop over to pick up coins from the ground!
Letters to the Editor
Thank you for printing the picture of our reunion. Although I left Mississippi 58 years ago I had ties with both The South Reporter and Holly Springs. I was actually born in Holly Springs but raised in Victoria.
