Police investigate burglaries The Holly Springs Police Department reported larceny, burglary and aggravated assault calls July 17-22. Police Chief Patricia Selman released the following report. July 17 A grand larceny was reported in 900 block of Mackie Drive. Items stolen include seven 1 GB I-Pods valued at $147.88 each and seven 30GB I-Pods valued at $298.44 each. July 20 An aggravated assault was reported in the 200 block of W. Valley. A burglary occurred between 5:45 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Thursday in the 200 block of N. Walthall. The victim stated an air conditioner was stolen from the residence. July 21 A burglary was reported in the 200 block of W. Chulahoma Ave. Items taken include one orange Rigid Dual tank air compressor, one Campbell Hausfeld single tank air compressor, one Ryobi saw, one Makita saw and a Pasload nail gun. July 22 A 1985 Chevrolet truck, blue with white toolbox and “Rust College” on both doors in white lettering, was taken from the 100 block of Rust Ave. The Holly Springs Police Department encourages anyone having any information regarding any of the incidents mentioned above to call the department at 662-252-2122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-729-2169.
