Holly Springs police nab drug, assault suspects The Holly Springs Police Department made two arrests last week. Officers are also investigating some break-ins. Police chief Patricia Selman released the following report. January 10 Earnest Lee Hudson, 28, of Holly Springs, was arrested on possession of more than an ounce of marijuana in the 200 block of Memphis Street, according to Selman. January 11 The burglary of a residence was reported in the 200 block of West Elder. Entry was made by kicking in the back door. Items reportedly taken from the residence included $200 in cash, a 27” Duraband color television valued at $160 and a Magnavox DVD/CD player valued at $34. January 12 Samer Alomasi, 28, of Holly Springs, was arrested on aggravated assault charges in the 300 block of Van Dorn Avenue, according to Selman. January 15 A breaking and entering was reported in the 600 block of Martin Luther King. Entry was made by breaking a window in the residence. A 13” color television and a JVC boombox were taken.
