Back to School Worship service By BEVERLY PHILLIPS Publicity Chairman Holly Springs/Marshall County Baptist Association will hold its first Back to School Worship Experience on the fifth Sunday in July at 3 p.m. at the Baptist Association Building. All parents, community leaders, K-12 students and college students in the Holly Springs/Marshall County area are asked to attend this worship experience. Holly Springs City Schools Superintendent Irene Walton, and Donald Randolph, Marshall County Schools Superintendent, will discuss school matters. Music will be provided by the HSMC mass choir. Rev. James Green, pastor of Finley Grove MB Church is the moderator. Byers sets enrollment for new students H. W. Byers Elementary and High Schools will have evening enrollment times for new students. Parents are to bring the Mississippi School Compliance Forms (shot record for schools), certified birth certificate, Social Security card and two proofs of residency in custodial parent’s name. Evening enrollment times are as follows: Thursday, July 20 and Thursday, July 27 from 2 to 7 p.m. If you have questions, call Ms. Spaulding, counselor, at 662-851-7826. Holly Springs High class of 1956 meets in Martin home for 50 year reunion Nine members, and their spouses of the Holly Springs High Class of 1956 met on the evening of July 8 at the home of Ben Martin for its 50 year class reunion. Among those attending were Ned Lester of San Diego, Ca; Sam White of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; Tom Stewart of Houston, Texas; Dean Belk of Indianola; Linda Belk, John Paul Carpenter, Wayburn Callicutt, Bobby Mitchell and Ben Martin, all of Holly Springs. Report News:
