News Hopewell No. 1 hosts revival July 26-28 Review of the National Baptist Congress held in Baltimore this summer was shown to Hopewell No. 1 members Monday, July 10, 7 p.m. Sis. Ivion Mae Crittle, Cynthia Cole and Willie B. Cornelious were sponsors. Hopewell No. 1 members having a birthday in July: Eric Washington, 6; Rasheed Janal DeBerry, 7; Mamie Byers, 9; pastor Leroy James, 11; Sandrika Pinson, 11; Bessie Anderson, 14; Thandra Boga, 16; Etoyil F. Long, 16; Doris Reed, 16; Abberdella Reed Jones, 21; Bertina Walton, 18; Dewayne Cornelious, 24; Robert Ann Kimmons, 29; Odis Malone, 7. The congregation sang “Happy Birthday” to all of them. There will be a three-night revival at Hopewell No. 1 July 26-28 at 7 p.m. Rev. S.A. Phillips will be the evangelist from Pleasant Grove. The public is invited to attend.
