Personals HSHS class of ’66 attend reunion Bea Green, Sandra Young, Janey Fant and Phoebe Stewart spent Friday night at Pickwick with former Holly Springs resident, Betty Knight. April and Aaron Valentine and children, Joley Ann and Arin Leigh, and Caitlyn Brooks just returned from a long weekend in Heber Springs, Ark.. They spent most of their time on the boat on the water and jumping off of cliffs into the water. A wonderful time was had by all! Saturday night, the Holly Springs Country Club was jumping with graduates from Holly Springs High School dating back as far as 1963. The “host class” was that of 1966. Those members passed along the word to other graduates that they were having their 40th reunion and if anyone from other classes wanted to join in on the fun, they were more than welcome. Locals from that era attended, as well as a lot of out of towners. Allison Proctor and Larry Thomas to wed July 15 in the Thomas home Guy and Verna Sue Proctor of Olive Branch announce the engagement of their daughter Allison Nicole to Larry Curtis Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry G. Thomas of Byhalia, formerly of Collierville, Tenn. Allison is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey Proctor of Forrest City, Ark. and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon French of Palestine, Ark. She is a 1998 graduate of Olive Branch High School and continued her education at Northwest Community College, graduating in 2002 with an associate degree in science and a paralegal certificate. She is presently employed with the O’Brien Law Firm in Southaven. Curt is the grandson of Carmine Sexton and Ruby Thomas, both of Collierville, Tenn. He is a 1995 graduate of Collierville High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He is presently employed with Reel Neet Erosion Control in Olive Branch. The couple will be united in marriage on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the home of the groom’s parents, Larry and Pat Thomas, in Byhalia. After the honeymoon, the couple will make their home in Coldwater. Ronald Henderson and Lori Hope’s wedding and reception held at Piedmont Park Tavern Willie H. Mallory of Holly Springs and Maella Hope of Memphis, Tenn. announce the marriage of their daugher, Lori Chayes Hope to Ronald Lewis Henderson of Mobile, Ala. The groom is the son of Ronald and Jacqueline Henderson and the grandson of Theodore and Vera Andrews of Mobile, Ala. The wedding and reception were held at Piedmont Park Tavern in Atlanta, Ga. The bride is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and received an MBA from New York University. She was a Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society scholar at Clark and magna cum laude at NYU. She is the owner of Granny Day Care in Atlanta. The groom is a graduate of Morehouse College and the CEO of Atlanta’s “Jus A Dream Records.” He is an MBA candidate at Clark Atlanta University. The couple honeymooned in South America. Reginald Jermaine Jefferson and Davena Deanza Richmond to wed July 15 at Saint Paul Baptist Church in Byhalia Mark Richmond and Dyanza Rhymes of Byhalia announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Davena Deanza Richmond of Byhalia to Reginald Jermaine Jefferson of Byhalia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vince Jefferson of Byhalia. Davena is the granddaughter of Robert and Baber Rhymes of Chicago, Ill. She is a graduate of Byhalia High School and a graduate of Northwest Junior College. The groom is a graduate of Byhalia High School and is employed by Fed Ex of Indiana. He is the grandson of Lee Willie and Louis Jefferson of Red Banks and the late Jessie and Edna Rayford. The wedding ceremony will be held July 15 at St. Paul Baptist Church at 4 p.m. All family and friends are invited. The reception will follow at Dreamland in Holly Springs. Birth Stacks Gary and April Stacks of Waterford are proud to announce the birth of their son, Gary Michael Stacks III. Gary Michael was born on April 7, 2006 and weighed eight pounds, nine ounces. Maternal grandparents are Tim and Cherrie Shaw of Waterford. Great-grandparents are T. M. and Annie Ruth Stone of Potts Camp.
