Corner Welcome back from vacation “Preacher” Like many preachers, I came to the pulpit directly from the choir loft. That is, I like to sing. I have noticed that most ministers enjoy music. South Mourning the untimely passing of a friend This is without doubt the most difficult column I have had to write so far. That is because I am writing it just a few hours after being told that one of my closest friends died at the weekend, after being suddenly rushed to hospital suffering from meningitis.
