SocietyCity Personals Mr. and Mrs. Shane Crawford and two of their sons from Waller, Texas attend the MA class of 1986 reunion The Class of 1986 from Marshall Academy spent a weekend reminiscing with various activities. Saturday, they had a picnic which included classmates, wives and their children. Those who attended the picnic were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Rodgers and their two children from Byhalia, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Thomas and their two children of Overton Park, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Jody Dunning and their two daughters of Olive Branch, Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Belk and their son of Collierville, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. Shane Crawford and two of their sons from Waller, Texas, Anita Barnett and her two daughters and Denise Bonds and her two sons, of Holly Springs. Saturday night, Anita Barnett hosted the classmates and their wives in her home. Other classmates who joined the rest for the party Saturday night, besides Steve Rodgers and Fielding Belk and their wives, were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Carson of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Alison (Farese) Thomas of Collierville, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. Ki Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hutchens. Senior class sponsors, Vicki Webb and Kay Wheeler, also attended the gathering. Karen Holley of Hernando, and Teresa Clarkson of Olive Branch, returned Tuesday from a five-day vacation in Denver, Colo. While there, they drove up the mountain to Rocky Mountain National Park and rode the tram at Estes Park going 9,800 feet up the mountain. Ruth Ann Runia and her grand-daughters, Kristina and Ashley Luther, went to visit Ruth’s son, George Frank Frayser, and his wife, Charlotte, in Georgia. They spent a week and had a wonderful time. They went swimming, bowling, to the beach and shopping. Constance Ann Lanier and grandson, Austin Thomas, of Olive Branch, spent Friday afternoon and evening visiting with their Holly Springs friends. Ellis and Emma Reed Farese of Oxford spent the weekend with their grandparents, Vivian and Smitty Smith. Saturday, the girls enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of swimming at the home of Kay Wheeler with their friends, Caitlyn and Grady Brooks. Kathryn Hill and Matthew Brisolara will exchange vows August 19 at Bethany Baptist in Potts Camp David and Janice Hill are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Kathryn Anne, to Matthew Brisolara, son of David Brisolara of Long Beach and Rebecca Brisolara of Starkville. Kathryn is the granddaughter of Harrell Whitehorn and the late Janie Whitehorn of Cornersville, and Russell Hill of Potts Camp, and the late Jane Hill of Sardis. She is a graduate of Potts Camp High School and Middle Tennessee State University. Matthew is the grandson of Bob and Virginia Singletary of Starkville, and the late Arthur and Haydee Brisolara of Long Beach. He is a graduate of Starkville High School and presently a student of Middle Tennessee State University. The couple will exchange vows at Bethany Baptist Church, Potts Camp, on August 19, 2006. Birth announcement Palmer Maternal grandparents are Martha and Bobby Fant of Holly Springs and Bennie and Reginia Mayer of Olive Branch. Paternal grandparents are Harold and Maxine Palmer of Waterford. Great-grandmother is Allene Teel of Mt. Pleasant. The babies are welcomed home by big brother Hunter Palmer. Report News:
