HS Primary registration information

All children attending Holly Springs Primary School must be registered before entering school this fall. Parents of previously enrolled students only need to bring two proofs of residency to register. All new students attending this fall must bring: certified birth certificate, updated shot record, Social Security card and two proofs of residency of parents.

Youth Talent Show set for July 15

Holly Springs Youth Talent Show will be held Saturday, July 15 at Holly Springs Multi-Purpose Building, 160 S. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635. Junior division (ages 8-12), check-in: 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.; show begins at 1 p.m. Senior division (ages 13-21), check-in, 1:45 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. Show begins at 3 p.m.

Registration fee is $20 for solo, $45 for group. Admission is $3 per person. Each division has three categories: vocals, dance and instrumental.

How to enter: Pick up registration form at the Holly Springs Recreation Department, located at 160 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635 or registration may be done over the phone by contacting Tamara Jeffries at (662) 306-0597 or by e-mail at kenntata@aol.com or Carlyn Lee at (662)252-1577.

Prizes: The overall winner from each division will receive an invitation to compete in the Mid-South Fair’s talent contest along with $50 and a trophy. Five winners will be selected in each division. Winners will receive trophies and ribbons. A Mid-South Fair representative may be in attendance to invite additional contestants to compete in the Mid-South Fair.
