Baseball camp set for MA The Marshall Academy Baseball Camp will take to the field in two sessions during July. The first session, for ages 5 to 10, is set for July 11-14 from 8 a.m. to noon each day. The second session, for ages 6 to 12, will be held July 17-20 from 8 a.m. to noon each day. The camp will be led by Jimmy Hicks, head baseball coach at MA. He will be assisted by some of his varsity players. The baseball camp will focus on “every aspect of the game,” Hicks said, including hitting, pitching, field, base-running, bunting and sliding. Cost for each session is $100. All campers will receive a T-shirt, plus awards will be handed out at the conclusion of each session. Campers should pre-register by calling Coach Hicks at 662-291-0348, or anyone with questions can contact Hicks at the same number. Report News:
