One airlifted after assault Holly Springs police are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred June 25 in the 600 block of Craft Street. One victim was airlifted to The Med for treatment of head injuries, according to Chief Patricia Selman. She said one arrest has been made in connection with the altercation, and another is expected. No names or other information are being released at this time. Police are investigating three other separate incidents that occurred last week. On June 20, a grand larceny/vehicle was reported in the 100 block of West Street. The vehicle is described as a 2002 white, four-door, Chevy Impala. On June 21, a property theft was reported in the 600 block of Westlake Drive. The victim stated an air conditioner was taken from the residence. On June 23, an attempted vehicle theft was reported in the 400 block of Craft Street. The vehicle was damaged extensively by the would-be thieves.
