Summer Enrichment Camp tours Brooks Museum

The Summer Enrichment Camp (SEC) at Holly Springs Intermediate School this summer is studying the arts. The teacher, Cynthia Finch and her students are learning about realism, which is when the picture looks as real as if it has been photographed with a camera. They are studying impressionism, which uses dots or strokes of color to give the idea of what the subject is. The students are also studying cubism, which uses shapes and color to make the art.
