Lake News Boats needed for parade Hello Snow Lakers. I hope you had a good week. Our week was wonderful. Yes, my husband got his new toy - a yard tractor. Frances Poe entered the hospital Tuesday with a back problem. Hopefully she will be home by the time you read this. If you know of anyone sick or needing help please call Sue Graves, 224-3264. We are getting ready for the Bluegrass Festival on July 1! Have you seen the signs at the East entrance? Don’t forget the professional fireworks. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the fireworks fund. If you want to contribute, please contact Town Hall or the corporation office. Regarding the festival, just call me at 662-224-3913. We are hoping to have several boats in the boat parade. We would like for you to decorate but it isn’t necessary. We just want lots of boats in the parade. Watch the papers for the schedule. We are also looking for vendors ---- if you or your friends need a booth, please call 224-0065 or 224-3913. There will be twelve hours (plus) of good, clean, fun! I heard the memorial service for John Pierpont was beautiful and very meaningful. I hope you were able to attend. We will miss him very much. Coming Events: Saturday, June 17 - 7-9 a.m. Breakfast, followed by corporation meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 24 - 6:30 p.m. Potluck - Y’all Come! Saturday, July 1 - 9 a.m. Snow Lake Bluegrass Festival. Remember, guests are always welcome to come to any of our events. Our Quote: “From Gentle Thoughts.” “We are shaped and fashioned by what we love.” Have a good week, and hope to see you next week. Report News:
