Saturday night was one of the biggest nights Holly Springs has seen in a long time with the Kate Freeman Clark Art Gala and Auction. I would like to thank everyone who donated to this wonderful event - from their time to their artwork to their wares. This year we were fortunate enough to have artist Randy Hayes in attendance, along with two of his marvelous studies on the auction block. Harriet Cochran donated a gorgeous oil on canvas of Kate Freeman Clark’s home. Steve Elgin, whose artwork in pen and ink would astound anyone, donated two of his wonderful pieces. Kieffer DeBerry donated one of his fabulous African masks. All of the aforementioned are from here! It was amazing to see how many local artists we have right here in Holly Springs, who were all well represented at the gala. The event was a grand success and could not have happened if not for Edwin and Ann Callicutt and their tireless efforts towards the end result! Thank you again for all of your hard work and dedication and to the wonderful people of Holly Springs who supported the event, as well as attended, see you in four years!
