Naylond Hayes camp starts June 19

The first annual Naylond Hayes Girls and Boys Individual Basketball Camp will be held June 19-22 at the Eddie L. Smith Multi-Purpose Building in Holly Springs.

The camp, led by the Holly High boys basketball coach, will be for students entering the fifth through 10th grades next fall. Cost is $60.

All campers should check in between 8 and 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 19. All campers should be picked up at 12 noon.

Emphasis will be placed on shooting, dribbling, passing, rules and team play. Campers should wear shorts, t-shirts and gym shoes.

Deadline for registration is Saturday, June 17. Please mail or bring fees to Naylond Hayes, 576 Swaney Drive, Holly Springs, MS 38635. Call 252-3998 or 544-1470 for more information.

All campers should provide their own insurance. Proof of medical insurance will be required.

The Naylond Hayes Basketball Camp will teach youngsters how to be a well-rounded, team-oriented player. Each session offers intense, specialized basketball instructions with emphasis on the fundamentals of the game (dribbling, passing, shooting, defense and rebounding). Campers of all ability levels will enjoy a rewarding experience.
