Marshall Academy academic awards banquet

Marshall Academy administrators and teachers handed out academic awards for the 2005-06 school year Tuesday night, May 16, at First Presbyterian Church.

Woodmen of the World American History Awards - eighth grade, Patricia Wiseman; 11th grade, Houston Dodson.

Bausch and Lomb Science Award - Chelsea Faulkenbery.

Prudential Spirit of Community Award - Anne Bishop and Ellen Gresham.

Wendy’s High School Heisman Nominees - Bronwyn McNeill and Blake Work (he was a Mississippi state finalist).

Hugh O’Brian Leadership Representative - Kim Shaw.

Duke Talent Identification participants - Ashley Bryant, Callie Clanton, Jake DeLashmit, Lauralee Fant, Preston Farley, Aziz Johnson, Claire Liddy, Taylor Maurey, Hank Owens and Sarah Poteet.
