Home and garden party benefits mission trip
Several in the community attended a home and garden party for Lisa and Bethany Johnson. The even was held at the home of Harold and Shirley Fortner and co-hosted by Greta Rich. Donations from the party will go to Lisa and Bethany Johnson as they prepare for a mission trip to Brazil to share the gospel.
Hopewell members to be recognized Sunday during special program
A recognition program will be given for the board of deacons and board of trustees of Hopewell No. 1 Sunday, May 28, 2:45 p.m. Oak Hill Baptist Church will be our guests. The public is invited.
Sister Monica Govan has been named mother of the year at Hopewell No. 1.
